Project Consultant for the design and construction support for two viaducts which both consisted of 6 spans of precast segmental box girder structures for both phases 1 and 2. Our involvement included road alignment, drainage and geotechnical designs as well as the structural designs of the bridges. The decks are constructed integral with pier columns to minimise maintenance and simplify the construction. The pier column is constructed using a precast unit and it is the first project in Malaysia and South East Asia to use precast column. Our scope included Quantities taking off and preparation of the Specifications.
